This specialized three-day seminar is a unique opportunity to be taught by Manolis Giankos, spearfishing instructor, European and world champion in freediving spearfishing.

Specifically, it focuses on the use of SONAR during fishing trips and the management of the data collected afterwards.

Seminar content:

The seminar combines theoretical training and practical training, aiming to:

1. Physical principles of SONAR operation: Understanding the basic physical principles governing the use of the SONAR
2. Combined use of sonar and GPS: How to combine the two technologies for accurate location and mapping of your areas
3. SONAR configuration and data management: Management and configuration of points and data
4. Methodology for discovering new places: Practical techniques to identify good fishing areas
5. Spots categorization: Data analysis and categorization of areas into noteworthy and non-remarkable, for effective planning of future excursions

Prerequisites for participation:

The seminar is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience. However, priority will be given to those who have already attended a spearfishing training seminar from the SI educational organization.
