This training seminar addresses sea lovers who already have a little familiarity with the marine environment and all those who wish to learn the basic theory and techniques of Freediving to obtain the necessary bases for their further development with comfort and safety.
The purpose of the trainers and the educational process is for the participants to acquire the necessary basic knowledge on freediving techniques and equalization of pressures in the middle ear to be comfortable and safe in the first steps of their dives and acquire some skills of organizing and planning safe excursions.
At the end of the seminar, you will be able to hold your breath for at least 90 sec, do a dynamic apnea of 25 meters and dive to depths of up to 10 meters.
Content
The theoretical part of this program, which includes at least eight lessons of one hour and takes place in the FSWW auditorium or online through a particular platform, analyzes all that helpful information that will prepare participants for their upcoming free diving in the pool and sea.

Subsequently, in the practical part of the training seminar, the participants, through the corresponding visits in the pool and the sea, perform a predetermined series of customized exercises to lay the right foundations and experiences in the following subjects:

- Dynamic Apnea (DYN)
- Diving technique
- Finning technique
- Duck Dive techniques
- Underwater propulsion
- Middle ear pressure equalization techniques

Participation requirements
Documents and conditions of participation:
- Τhe participant must be over 14 years old
- Identity Card or Passport
- Medical certificate issued within the last 12 months
- Disclaimer form (to be completed at the beginning of the procedure)
- Parental consent document in case the interested party is under 18 years old
